As a Beauty Specialist you will acquire the confidence and knowledge you require to be able to guide your customers as they purchse cosmetics in Canada.  After you successfully complete the Product Safety Course, as a Beauty Specialist you will be able to confidently accomplish the following with your customers:  

• Labelling Standards – you will be able to describe the various levels of labelling regulations in Canada.
• Product Safety Monitoring – you will be given the tools and information to be able to address customer queries about the safety of cosmetics by describing how products are monitored in Canada.
• Label Warnings & Cautions – you will be able to help customers understand how label warnings and cautions contribute to overall product safety.
• Product Claims – you will be provided with information to ensure you are familiar with the broad array of issues associated with personal care product claims.
• Safe & Hygienic Product Use – you will be familiar with safe and hygienic products used in the retail environment, and you will be provided with a recommended approach to communicate with customers.
